Make Your Own Pepper Mill Kit (No woodworking equipment required!)
Yes, for those who do not have a lathe, you can now make your own pepper or salt grinder!
Included in the kit:
- 5 piece mechanism housing and string
- 250 grams of air dry clay
- 135 mm CrushGrind® ceramic mechanism ($16.49 value)
Needed:
- scissors
- damp cloth
- dry cloth
- table
Optional:
- rolling pin or something similar (i.e. pop can) if you want a smooth mill
- cutting board or a portable flat surface
- design utensil (i.e. clay carving tools or a fork or something to put designs into the wet clay)
- paint and paint brush (acrylic pain is recommended)
This kit makes a mill approximately 16.5 cm / 6.5 inches tall.
